Chubby Bags - Slow Motion Drop test

This 22.5 mt, slow motion drop test was carried out by Global Lifting Aberdeen and witnessed by DNV Engineers. We gradually raised and dropped the CB from 2mt, in stages until we reached the crane maximum of 22.5mt.

After final drop and a thorough inspection no damage to the CB or drop site was reported by, the astounded onlookers or by the DNV inspector or the Global Lifting Specialists.

We also committed to destruct testing using the Global test bed facilities in Altens Aberdeen. The data we collected showed that the CB was capable of lifting many times its DNV awarded SWL of 7 to 1.
